Worse Trip Ever Had...

Trip to Amsterdamn, Brussells, and Paris cheated by Source4Needs Tours and Travels.

If you are one of the new visitors planning to visit the above or any locations for vacation, you must read this carefully before you get cheated and regret.

To anyone who is looking to book a tour, stay away from Source4needs tours. You will get ripped off.

We booked a package tour and paid 360£ per adult and
280£ per child to Amsterdamn, Brussels and Paris. They cut the trip short and we only get to hear lies and deceit from them. DO NOT APPROACH THIS TOURS & TRAVELS.

To start off with...
They were 2 hours late in picking us up. The Itenary promises a 3-stars hotel accomodation, 1 brunch, 3 breakfasts and 3 Indian-Vegetarian/Non-vegetarian dinner,"Tulip garden, Miniature world, Disneyland, Paris boat cruise and Eiffel Tower (top floor) tickets are included in the cost.
The 4 days printed itinerary sounded great but was never briefed to us on journey and not followed the itinerary plans for the entire 4 days.

The planning was so aweful that we had to travel overnight, and ended up sitting in the bus for hours as they managed to miss the ferry. After a long journey overnight, to our surprise our breakfast was boxed with tamarind rice with absolutely no salt in it, we never expected that we would get tamarind rice for breakfast which was packed the night before. Eventually it turned out to be bland and aweful.

On the very first day...

We were to spend an exciting time at the Madurodam Model Village, but were asked to just finish it in a hour time to head towards Zaanse Schans. But on the way the tour guides have changed the decision and havent showed zaanse Schans as promised. They took us directly for dinner and were made to sit outside in the cold weather for the tour guides to finish their drinks and the bus to arrive. After a long wait, at 11pm headed towards Breda, where the accomodation was booked to reach at 12:30 in the night.
This is the first day of the dinner and everybodys moods were spoiled. Bad starting, bad ending.

24th May 2008 - Depart to Belgium

Morning we all woke up early – after breakfast, waited until 10:30am and reached the city at 11:15. The Tour guide just showed us the Manneken Pis Statue and given us only 30 minutes for shopping, to come back exactly in 30 minutes else we would have to make our own arrangements for Paris.No feel of Brussells...but started proceeding towards Paris. Upon arrival to Paris we were directly take for Dinner. The dinner arrangements were terrible, 2 tables joined together for 10 person like sitting in hawker centre! The booking was from 7:30 pm and we arrived at 9:30 pm, so people had to have dinner in two different baches, due to no seats arranged for us. his wasted about 3 hours.The food served was insufficient for 30 adults and 5 kids – no additional food ordered. After dinner the tour manager again succesfully managed to skip the cruise trip which was promised.

When the same was questioned by one and all, the tour guide Mr.Vikram, had very blunt answers and was rude to the customers, and ended up arguing and fighting with the customers and took us to the hotel, which turned out to be an other nightmare. We were given accomodation in a hostel/dormitory next to cemetary, with no attached toilets.

Everyone were unhappy with the accomadation as it was very difficult to manage in those rooms, specially for people who came with infants and kids. When the same was questioned the tour manager and organizers bluntly replied saying , "this is how it is going to be, if you want stay..stay, else make your own way", for which a Dr's family with a 7 month old infant had to make alternate arrangemetns in the middle of the night.

A very bad night...

25th May 2008

Dissapointed and a bad night sleep...bad planning made many to change their plans. Few of them ended up going around paris at their own expences.As per the plan to head towards Disney Land, by 9am, how ever as usual, they managed to leave at 10am, and reached Disney by 12pm. After spending a day at disney till 5:30 pm, arrived at Eiffel Tower by 7:30.

Two Guys went missing near the Tower, but the tour manager and organizer cared a damn and were very irresponsible, did not wait for the 2 missing guys and took the bus towards the hotel.The organizers also managed to fight, argue and leave a fellow passengers family with a Infant on the road, in the middle of the night at 12:30. They were asked to find their own way to the hotel they checked in to. This was a very horrible sight to look at. Luckily when we found the 2 missing guys, there was a sign of reliefin everyone...
But again...the bus was not stopped for them and headed towards the hotel...a very cruel, brutal, mercyless and heartless behaviour.

26th May 2008

The last day of the trip...and everyone started the day with a little hope. In the morning everyone had to turn back without having breakfast as the organizers have not paid for the same. We had to look for a sandwich shop and have breakfast at our own expence.
Another bad day to start off...

The organizers were so good at time management that, they arrived at 11am.We were to see few places in Paris, city tour and shopping...but no luck...for which the credit goes to the organizers and their level of management.
Bad morning...no city tour...no shopping ...and were taken directly to Calais to board the ferry. We were just given 15 minutes for lunch, and 30 minutes for shopping :(

We were stopped on the side road, and at the fuel stations to pick some lunch.

The brochure stated that we would see some of the most interesting sights of the city, but we were not shown what was promised. Everyone on the bus were angry and confronted the tour manager. The tour manager and the oraganizers were not professional, very impatient, arrogant, rude, short tempered...

From our perspective, this was not a holiday, but a very lousy, stressful horrible never ever experienced, worse trip we ever had.

Our strong command is, try to travel other counties and places but definitely not with Source4needs.

If you have the light ears and soft heart please, don't get cheated by Source4needs. They are very well trained and prepared the dirty hole for you to step in.

You might be one of the victims, please tell your friends and relatives not to get trapped by them.

Beware!!

So I would request all of you to send this to each and everyone so that we can create awareness than getting fooled by this kind of people.

I happen to be one of the 'victims' of the above 4 days chaos called " The Europe Trip " from Source 4 Needs...

While everything has been nicely put into words by the blogger...would just like to add a few things over here.

The disgruntled passengers had a raw deal throughout the trip not just for the awful arrangements and the delays but also for basic elements for a safe and successful tour being ignored by the organisers.I can list a few such things that comes to my mind:


1. The tour organiser who's arranging the trip is suppose to be the sole contact for any unwanted situation that a passenger might face.Problem was that his phone was either not working or it was on voicemail.... and the mailbox was always full ..so if someone urgently needed to contact him was unable to do so as his v/mail was always full.This was a problem throughout the trip till the last day.

2. Passengers should have been provided the addresses and phone number of the hotels that were booked for night stay.This is an essential information which was not provided to anyone.
Ideally if this is done..then in the event of someone going astray or being separated from the group can always get back to the hotel and wait for the rest of the group to arrive.Since this vital information was ignored, two of our co-passengers had a horrid experience once they got separated from the rest of the group for a few minutes and had to roam around the city of Paris and look for a map and direction on the internet to actually locate where they were staying the previous day.It was by luck that they were "spotted" on the road otherwise it would have been further anguish and chaos would have ensued since we were all staying at a different hotel next day.

The fact that they were again ignored and left on the road to roam around in spite of being spotted is another shocking treatment being meted out which has already been discussed in the blog !!!


3. And finally don't expect to question them for any delays or for missing out promised sightings..... this will be blamed on other passengers who might not be at fault.Imagine spending money for a trip with an agency and then arranging for your own hotel accommodation again by paying a lot extra because of poor accommodation and breakfast being arranged by the organisers...this is exactly what was being done by one of the families so that their Paris trip is not ruined !!!..As expected they were provided no apologies and were not compensated for anything !!!

Hope this facts are taken into account if someone is planning a trip to Amsterdam,Brussels or Paris with the Travel Agency called Source4Needs.

Hi,

And I happen to be one of the person who was left without any support with another friend in the unknown city of Paris.

Its really great to see people coming forward and challeging the unacceptable behaviour by Source for needs who didnt even bother to apologise once and/or thank people who have been so compromising thru-out.

I'ld like to add that after left alone in the city alone without our passports and very less money as our luggage was in the bus Vikram(tour manager) didnt even answer his phone.

the city where it was very difficult to make the taxi driver understand about the hotel as not being an english speaking place, we didnt even were given the hotel details and address. the only thing we new was the the name of the hotel.

After roaming around for 2 hrs in the city and finally locating the hotel, the manager again fled away after seeing us with our luggage and was caught later in front of a different hotel when we chased the bus. All this was at arounf 1 am in the morning.

the service was really apauling and i request everyone to make aware as many people they can to avoid such bad experince.

There was lack of proper info along with improper communication as the meeting point was chaged and wasnt conveyed to anyone at the eiffel tower. and whosoever managed to find them could board the bus and phonecalls were not being answered.

very poor service with lot of excertion, with majority of time in the bus travelling and over delayed meals and at times no meals. against all the health standards. Infact a couple of child fall ill on the trip.

Therefore do spread the word of mouth against such a bad service which can lead to fatal concequences.
